Venue/Access
The Quaker Meeting House is close to Kingston railway station and the Eden Street bus stops. There is no parking onsite, but there are several car parks nearby. We have access to the building from 10am – 5pm. The event will begin at 11am. There will be no admission after 4pm, when we hope to have a Tai Chi demonstration and closing meditation. Events will take place in two main areas:

Main Hall:
Talks, demonstrations, taster treatments and refreshments will be downstairs in the main hall.

First Floor Meeting Room:

Workshops should last one hour, and will be held in a separate room upstairs, which can comfortably accommodate about 20.

Admission to the event is free for everyone (members and public), and payment for workshops, treatments and refreshments will be made to KUTLETS admin via a system of vouchers purchased with Beaks, Community Credits or Ecos (the Wandle LETS currency). `

Members of KUTLETS and our partner organizations Save The World Club and Wandle LETS can pay in full using these alternative currencies. Members of the public will need to exchange cash to obtain trading vouchers – any cash we collect in this way will help us offset the cost of the venue hire and refreshments.`

The aim of this event is to raise the profile of KUTLETS in the community and to encourage cash-free trading, both within the system and between ourselves and partner organizations. We hope it will be an inspiring and enjoyable day for everyone, and the first of many exciting initiatives.
