SOLIDARITY VILLAGE
BECAUSE ANOTHER ECONOMY IS POSSIBLE...
We, European actors from Social and Solidarity Economy, want to propose a Solidarity Village of the ESF 2003. We are creating a co-ordination for European actors and networks and invite you to join us.
This village aims to gather the actors that have set up concrete alternative experiences in response to social inequalities due to the neoliberal system. Because we strongly favour an economy at the service of Human Beings and able to answer to his rights and his fundamental needs, which are despised.
If you think that another world is possible, know that another economy has taken place and follows its development. The Social and Solidarity Economy proposes a more equal distribution of wealth: Not anymore an individual profit logic but co-operative. We want to create a dynamic and convivial space in order to inform a large audience about our current actions and to reinforce the European Social and Solidarity Economy network. That´s why we want to show with visibility our actions :
- Stands : to present our products or services
- Pegagogical and interactive animations focused on sustainable development education, solidarity, human rights
- Food products from biological agriculture and fair trade
- Partnerships with international solidarity organisations
- Information about economical alternatives: energy, social currency, transport, recycling, co-operatives ...
