The
LETSLINK
UK Network
was founded as a means of creating links between LETS groups long
before the time of the Internet. In those days, creating and maintaining
links was a very labour intensive activity involving much printing,
photocopying, envelope stuffing, addressing, stamping and carrying
heavy bundles to the Post Office.
Now
in an Internet-connected world making new links is virtually effortless.
What the new technology does not do is make the virtual link into
any meaningful communication - we post below a number of websites
containing links which we are checking........whilst on our REGIONAL
LINKS page we are building up pages to Counties and
Boroughs, but as we need to verify them individually before posting
them up, it is taking time. Meanwhile,
our LETS-LINKS service is to provide people with the name and telephone
number of their nearest LETS group on request by email from our
own database (many groups do not have their own web-pages). If a
contact to your local group is not yet posted, please supply your
own details on this
